Would that be an indoor farm with extensive hydroponics?

Yep, they’re kicking out their tenants and piling into managed service accommodation.

Government is looking at cracking down on this. They are "consulting" at the moment.

Good because the housing crisis is even more screwed because of this.

Its a way around the Landlord and Tenant Act for some landlords. I don't agree with it of course.

Could you give a bit more details please? This is starting to become more attractive given the goverment insistence on EPC and the impossible time and cost in evicting tenants

                      Yeah sure,
I've done that for 2 years (started 1 month before pandemic blew over:|)

cash is there, but you're paying tuliploads of comissions to booking.com airbnb on every income stream. You are not able to upsell as theres no such feature so you couldnt sell addons say champagne or flowers
youre paying 35$ a month for pricing calculation per night (it works great and worth the expense) and for integration between airbnb and booking.com and other websites
after a while I had whatsup regular clients that were paying direct
after a year I started to become a target by groups throwing wild parties. they would lie about purpose, number of people , pay huge deposit, nothing would deter them to make a party in your premises
installed CCTV only to witness at 2am how 100 people entering my house and do total devastation, piss , blood on mattresses etc. Every week
Received multiple complaints from neighbours about noise and anti social behaviour (people jumping on neighbours cars). Fights, police, you name it.

I started profiling guests but they would just lie themselves in , disguised as tourists, they would come with 1-2 people take the keys and then invite everyone else over.
The moment I found 100+ syringes in my beautiful house I cancelled other bookings and wrapped things up

Anything unmanned without reception- don't, just don't
