          Here it is https://www.itv.com/news/meridian/20...ape-ferry-link

For a long time people thought these shared brand names were useful - but as time goes on, it seems they're not.

It's the same reason you can't log into Virgin Media Wifi on a Virgin Train - they'll tell you "nothing to do with us". If you're not willing to take responsibility for the cockups, or share customer loyalty across brands, should you be allowed to trade on the good name? Or at least, you can't really complain when the consumer confuses you for being the same.

Yeah because you wouldn't want to think they pay their staff as much as £5.50 an hour!

            https://www.corpwatch.org/article/sw...om%20customers.

Carnival Cruise staff on UK ships are paid $1.20 (75p) an hour or $400 a month in basic wages, according to new documents seen by the Guardian newspaper. These workers lose their tips, which work out to roughly 15 percent of wages, unless they get at least a 92 percent favorable rating from customers.
P&O ferries should be differentiating themselves from Carnival at least they pay nearly half minimum wage!
