+1. Not least because Putin will be engineering what comes next.

I just like to hope there might be some ray of hope for Ukraine and others in region.

I believe Moldova is also a notable wheat growing region, so yes that may be on the cards

At the risk of sounding callous, I hope he either wins quickly or loses quickly, because all the time this carry on continues there's a greater risk of WW3 breaking out!

Rising chance of a second Russian Civil War, with breakaway regions and independent green army units in all areas of Russia.

Seems more likely than one of his inner circle getting close enough for an assassination.

All these sufferings, will it not go away if Zelensky agrees to not seek/join the NATO? Why is he sacrificing his own people and blame Putin?

Do you think Putin simply wants Ukraine not to join EU/Nato? An illegal invasion/war isn't the way to go about preventing that. The war is having the opposite effect with other countries now wanting to join Nato and existing members increasing their defence spending and dropping any remnant pacifist laws!

Putin is simply loop the loop and irrational. He's invaded Ukraine simply to extend Russian influence and begin the resurrection of the Soviet Union. If he'd had a cakewalk in Ukraine, Georgia and the Baltic States would have been next with a side swipe at Finland, Poland and so forth.

Zelensky has no choice but to fight because Putin will have him and people like him executed as soon as he has control. What would you do if Putin came and stomped on your property with murderous intent?

We have no choice but to oppose Putin because he's simply a bully and won't stop until taken out

Why would anyone trust Putin to do what he says?
