Anyone making money (or losing money) due to the war?

I have a big chunk of shares in Polymetal, down 80%.

This war will kill me at this rate.

£1,500.00 held by AirUkraine in Kyiv due to be refunded. But I will happily contribute it the war effort.

Everyone will lose over this. The military complex is probably rubbing their hands hard over this. Prince Andrew’s nonce bill will probably be only a drip in the ocean compared to this.

I wish more people would support the ‘stop the war’ claim and not fall for the curent hype.

I'm about level at the moment.
I'm hoping a few cheeky fivers at the weekend at the bookies might change things a little for the week.

If you are part of the american war industrial complex, yes, most likely. Or part of the tyrants on either side of the battle that have to rule their people with fear and an iron fist.

Anyone that wants to actually tulip their pants right now, just watch: American Horror Story Season 8 - it’s when the world is wiped out by nuclear missles and the rich head to bunkers.

Not having invested in the ISA this year, I'm booking to at least hedge by buying after the crash... Or at least the first one.
I wouldn't be surprised to see rural house prices jump again for people scared of nukes!

Unless it benefits you to have one or indeed both sides involved in a lengthy war e.g. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iran-Iraq etc.
