I'm finding that one out as we speak. Her first birthday was only a week after her death and that was very, very hard going - nearly disaster in fact
It is on days like this I wish I didn't have to retire last year. I could have escaped to the office and have plenty to keep me occupied, that I wouldn't know where the time went
It's certainly not easy.

Today is not too bad, I'm just treating it like a normal weekend. Up, coffee and breakfast, and a cycle in a bit before a late lunch. Trying to avoid anything 'christmas'.
You're still very early into your journey, but it does get easier as time goes by. Never 'easy', just easier to deal with each day and easier to deal with the waves as they come crashing in.
