Looks up cannabis - yep it does.
But how long after taking to the affects not impair the user? Most people will know about alcohol but I'd bet most of the drug users don't really know.

Cannabis takes ages - days in fact, it get stored in fat cells and then slowly re-releases into the system. When a brill cream NCO I went on a training course to spot potential miscreants. In a young lass/lad a heavy weekend alcohol session effect on performance would be noticeable for the Mon AM improving during the afternoon. A cannabis sess (and this was weak stuff) would be noticeable up to about Wednesday AM, even from a Friday smoke out.

Well you would think so but as mentioned if they don't crack down on speeding a bit of sniff is hardly going to make them worry.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

They do, as do all workers on or near the rail, in the last 5yrs I have had 3 random d&a tests

          all negative before you ask

although it’s always fun when before the test they ask you what meds you have taken in the last week - the little box on the form is never big enough!
