Cannabis takes ages - days in fact, it get stored in fat cells and then slowly re-releases into the system. When a brill cream NCO I went on a training course to spot potential miscreants. In a young lass/lad a heavy weekend alcohol session effect on performance would be noticeable for the Mon AM improving during the afternoon.
