We're following the leader, the leader, the leader

    Wherever he may go.

A tanker driver has told how he was tailed by about 20 drivers who were dismayed to discover he was not transporting petrol.

Johnny Anderson, who drives for Weaver Haulage, was transporting 44 tonnes of mortar from Bilston, Wolverhampton, to a building site in Northamptonshire.

When he reached his destination, he saw a line of traffic backed up behind him.

"The man at the front... actually said 'You could have stopped and told us you weren't a petrol tanker," he said.

So the cretin drivers blame the tanker driver because they're too idiotic to know what a petrol tanker looks like?

He should have said he was a tanker driver and topped up their cars with mortar. Great prank.

Didn't realise tanker drivers could call the police on you if you are stupid enough to follow them

Earlier today some cretin called the radio station to complain about a petrol station having a tanker delivery due to the queues of cars. He then actually said what petrol station it was.

Even if it was a fuel tanker, it could've been driving empty back to wherever they get filled up from. And how would they know if it was petrol or diesel... I wonder how many ran out of fuel following it.
