Mind of a Daily Mail reader

A person buys a house, after viewing it 7 times, only to discover there is a lot of road noise!

I would be more worried about a vehicle ending up crashing into my garden or house. Apparently the road is 70mph limit. Amazed developers are allowed to build so close to a main road like that.

She does get the the award for thickest person today on the daily mail.

Reminds me of the old Bill Bailey Sketch. Fog Horn Factory.

Yes, the planning department are the real villains here. She was stupid to buy there, but a 70mph road only a few feet from a new build is moronic. If one of their grandchildren kicks a ball over the fence you've got every chance of a potentially fatal crash.

There are a number of large new developments happening not too far from me now. All of them are right up close to busy dual-carriageways, it seems as if developers and councils seem to hate poor families - the Boomers didn't have to put up with such a poor existence when they were raising their children, Thatcher even sold them their council houses on the cheap.

Britain has become such a cruel place.

Bad enough staying at a Premiere Inn near an A road. Stayed at on off the A3 many years ago. Road works started at midnight. I did not get a wink of sleep, complained and got my money back.

Agree about football over the fence.

Also the fumes on a summers day, if the cars are in jam
