Got a phone call from an agent just after 9am yesterday. By mid-afternoon an interview over MS Teams had been arranged for 6pm. By 7:10pm I'd been accepted, subject to final sign-off by the project lead. Just after 9am this morning, the contract was confirmed, subject to the usual checks and paperwork. And now the contract is signed, ready for starting on Friday

Only a few weeks initially, but outside IR35 and a good rate. Every little helps!

Now I'd better get back to sorting the forum out, which will be continuing to happen alongside this new gig
