Shocking news - Boris Johnson accused of lying to MPs!

"Boris Johnson accused of lying to MPs over Labour's NHS pay stance

Labour has accused Boris Johnson of lying to MPs after he wrongly claimed Sir Keir Starmer had voted against a pay rise for NHS workers in England.

The party is calling on the PM to "correct the record" after he said Labour had voted against a 2.1% rise.

The 2.1% proposal - which has since been scrapped in favour of 1% - was approved without a vote in 2020.

Downing Street said the record had been corrected and there was no need for the PM to apologise."

Shocking news would be that Mr Johson had told the truth to MPs. He is a proven lier who has arranged for enemies of his to be beaten up. A bit like a tinpot Putin.

I'm waiting for Vetran to come along and write pages and pages of negativity on Boris for being a liar. I'm surprised he's not here already, to be honest, because he's such a staunch supporter of the truth

Yep sounds like he was wrong and he should apologise. Expect foot dragging, head down and a disclaimer from one of his staff like a two year old, he is a politician after all.

The tories have dragged their feet on NHS pay rises for years.

its been a real terms pay cut for years.

which is probably partially why so many of our nurses are stolen from overseas.

To be fair to Labour they did give them 14% in 1997 and created super' nurses that could do a lot of the routine tasks doctors did.

                    https://www.theguardian.com/society/...%20recruitment.

The nurses didn't exactly love them either.

I still wouldn't vote for Corbyn and I am sadly disappointed in Sir Keir.
