What would you spend the cost of Track and Trace on?

The Test and Trace service at £37Billion.

What would you spend the money on.

    For comparison the

    defence budget 2018/2019 £38 billion

According to SpaceX estimates, they could put 2-3 people on mars.

It is also about the same, as the whole Scottish budget for 2021??

    £37Billion FFS.

Jeez, that works out at over £500 for every adult and child in the country.
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

And even worse they had to use the local councils public health services to actually trace people because they couldn't.

Personally I would give the money to local councils.

It is more than the annual budget for NASA !!

I am part amused and part really annoyed.

        When will this madness end.

I probably wouldn't turn up for work on Monday if someone were to give me that much cash.

Have a party and pay the fines for everyone.

If they'd given the money to families of anyone who'd died of covid, that would be £300k per family.

New ads are coming out to encourage you not to buy coke -
                    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...rug-users.html

The government is to launch a PR blitz against the blight of middle-class illegal drug use, it has been reported.

Boris Johnson is said to be planning the campaign with the hope of making taking cocaine as socially unacceptable as drink-driving.

TV, radio and billboard adverts will target wealthy cocaine users who see the drug as a harmless weekend party habit by highlighting the violent crime and gang warfare that it is helping to fund.

The Prime Minister hopes to imitate the successful drink-driving and road safety campaigns run by THINK! since 2000.
