If I'm correct I believe this was on the news here. Still, I'm not sure if posting what happened is a decent thing to do...

LIke most others I never met Fleetwood but he was always one of the guys on here that kept me coming back to this board and he offered me some good advice about Brussels.

I think I heard of this when it happened but linking it to real person makes me cringe thinking about the cost of the appalling driving out here. Man, life seems so fragile sometimes.

        Just terrible.

My sympathies to his family, it's always sad to hear a 'character' has passed on, even when known via a bulletin board rather than a regular acquaintance in everyday life.

I have encountered this on a couple of occassions, and it is always quite saddening to hear there was even more behind the 'online persona' that you never got to know.

            A sad loss all round.
I never met, yet I feel I have lost a friend.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Sorry I was actually thinking of "Scotspine", anyhow here's to you Fleetwood.

I've been here in different incarnations since the days of "pF" btw.

Sad news indeed. My thoughts are with his family.
...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

I'm shocked and saddened . I sort of wonder, up there somewhere if someone is having his grammar corrected by some new guy.
                      I'm alright Jack
