At the very least, we were using money that we intentionally set aside for playing the stock market, and our actual wallets have enough for us to live on, right? You don't lose money that you hold, unless you sell. I for one do not want to lose almost two-thousand dollars that I worked so hard to grow, so I will hold. (Besides, that two-thousand is a lot for me.)
For those who YOLO'd their life savings into this, you have not only my condolences, but my respect; don't throw that all away if it drops. Personally? My plan is to take the next several weeks or months to average down enough to make a profit. I'm working off the assumption that the squeeze has happened or won't, but if it does that would be sweet.
They never said this would be easy, and holy **** it isn't, but I'll hold strong and I hope you do too. I'm no financial advisor, I'm just in Spain and holding out hope.
Also, if you're under significant stress, just remember that this money isn't actually gone while you're holding it. Go get some rest, some water. Go talk to your friends or do whatever you normally do to have fun. Don't let this consume you. If you really need support, consider reaching out to someone (even if that someone is me, which I don't mind).
