Minister reveals nearly 140,000 Brits have already been vaccinated against Covid | Daily Mail Online

Minister reveals nearly 140,000 Brits have already been vaccinated against Covid in mammoth operation after it emerged GPs 'are keeping records of jabs using pen and paper because of IT problems'

    • Vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi said 140,000 Britons have received the Pfizer Covid-19 jab so far
    • But he only provided a precise figure for vaccinations in Wales at 7,897 vaccinations
    • England has vaccinated 108,000, Scotland 18,000 and Northern Ireland 4,000, according to the minister
    • But it will take at least another six weeks for a million people to be vaccinated, current figures suggest
    7 weeks per million * 70 million people * 2 injections = 980

    So what's that 20 years?

You do realise they don't have to wait until everyone had had the first injection, before administering the second, yes?

So, only 10 years and 3 weeks

Ah yes, like how we're now doing 6-figure testing daily and it used to be 4 figures.

      2/10.

They are vaccinating the easy ones first in the big hospitals. There has to be a massive change in they way they do it if they are going to get the throughput they need to get it down to about a year.

I would prefer with skill and planning that is why we had a bigger empire than Spain, France or Germany the way we trained our sailors & soldiers.

Why are they recording the injections on pencil & paper, they have had a year to plan this how ffn difficult is writing a vaccination recording tool?

Perhaps the general public have figured out that this death by injection dressed as vaccine and so refusing to come forward to be vaccinated? Explains the utterly low numbers. Its all unravelling for the government now.

They don't have the vaccine in massive quantities yet. It's a question of mass production AND logistics. Both are pretty standard, it's a question of time and money that's all.

They have to do it in (or near) hospitals because the vaccine has to be stored at -70c. The next vaccine can be stored in normal-ish fridges, so that's what most will eventually get via the local GP surgery etc.
