    Women's clothing sizes

(Not for me you understand )

The OH bought 3 different pairs of jeans on-line, all size 12. I measured the waist with a tape measure and one was 33", one was 30" and one was even 24".

Is that par for the course?
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

I think that it's called "vanity sizing". All shops have their own take on this dependant on their customer demographics.

OH is a term meaning a partner or wife eg.

I took the Old Hag out to the restaurant.
          I'm alright Jack

That's exactly what it is. Sizes have got consistently bigger over the years. So what was a size 14 twenty years ago is now labelled as a 10. If someone is a size 10 in one shop and a 14 in another, they're more likely to buy from the shop where they're a 10. It makes people believe they're not getting fatter.

I believe it's a US state. Perhaps that's why her jeans don't fit.
