Hysterical nonsense. Freedom of the press doesn't work when hand-wringing grauniadistas get to choose which press they prefer and by which mode of publication.

That said, I am happy for XR to shoot themselves in the face at every opportunity.

Freedom of the press is working fine. Ergo your analysis is flawed.

XR would prefer that it wasn't, ergo your analysis is flawed.

Although starving the far-right of the oxygen of publicity seems like a good idea.

Not quite got the hang of hyperbole, have you. You nor vetran. He was triggered by "a bit racist", you were triggered by "a bit (of) totalitarian (ideology)".

Anyway, on with the hysterical stuff (I find them funny, anyway). When The Glorious Leader announces that the Press can write any articles they like, no matter how critical of The Regime, but prevents them being printed or available on-line or any other media, that's alright. The Press is still free! What a relief.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Come now. I'm not triggered, I'm mocking you for your hysterical hand wringing.

I'd say the last decade has shown that not to work, having dialogue and exposing it seems to be a much better approach, you might actually convince a few of them (vs. shouting them down).

No hand-wringing here - hysterical or otherwise. Just a bit of hyperbole and amusement. You should stop projecting.

I think by 'nothing said ' they mean the government, not the press.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Fair point, but who listens to that bunch of self-satisfied bunch of freeloaders?
