A certain Ms Patel is inventing ways to arrest those Crusty Left Wing Anarchists. They don't help themselves though Climate protesters 'arrested at entrance to parliament' before PMQs | Metro News

Following BJ's embarrassing performance at PMQ's today I think we should use the correct terminology:
Crusty Left Wing Anarchists.
Regardless of one's politics the weekly spectacle of a QC dismantling Boris by asking the same question repeatedly until all Boris' canned responses are exhausted is fascinating to watch. Enjoyable.

The Times might be Tory supporting, but definitely not the current shower supporting. Despite their attempts to ingratiate themselves.Originally posted by darmstadt View Post- The newspapers that were blocked were Murdoch-owned News Corp’s titles, including the Sun, Times, Sun on Sunday and Sunday Times, as well as the Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph, the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday, and the London Evening Standard. It failed as other newspaper groups including those that have leftie titles e.g. The Mirror started print runs for them so they could get some papers out.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostI think we can clear this up now.
This was a totalitarian restriction of the freedom of the press, but only in a a very specific and limited way.
So that's OK!
What protesters don't realise is journalists are protective of their own if they are proper journalists and not the likes of Farrage.

All seem to have disappeared, presumably now waiting for their court cases and paying fines before venturing out again.
The key seems to be to leave them for months to wait for their court case to come up and give them vague threats of huge fines.

They're still the press regardlessSent from my 5g carrier pigeonOriginally posted by Mordac View PostRoughly in order of their appearance in your diatribe:
The Huffington Post (I thought that was a wind-up, but I looked it up anyway) is basically someone's blog, with contributions. CUK is more deserving of a Downing St. Press Pass (perhaps not).
GMB is a vehicle for Piers Moron's ego, which is enough to avoid it unless you MUST keep up with what's happening in Love Island, and how Meghan and Harry are coping with lockdown in their 16-bed California mansion.
The newspaper which claims to be completely free and independent is the Graun, and the only papers they beat in the circulation figures are the Scottish titles (National newspaper ABCs: Full figures for November 2019 - Press Gazette). More than a million more people buy the Mail daily than the Graun.
We do have a free press, but we also have a free population, and they are not choosing to buy the Graun.
As long as Germany has a free press, you should be OK. Mind you, there's nothing we Brits like more than lectures on freedom from the Mainland.
Edit: Meghan and Harry's mansion doesn't have 16 bedrooms, it actually has 16 bathrooms, and 9 bedrooms. Why would one need more bathrooms than bedrooms? Definitely a question for Mr Moron on tomorrows GMB...

I've always thought that of Huffington Post but they seem to be able to poke their noses in many places.
