I'm feeling pretty positive, yes.
- recession is great news because just like in 2008 it will drive house prices down so, if my partner and I decide to buy a house in the UK, we'll get a pretty sweet deal
- if we decide not to buy a house in the UK, that's great too; we can just move to the EU and work from there. We can both work 100% remotely, and in case I need it, I have a EU passport and can find work there
- tourism will pick up a lot, plenty people will start traveling to the UK again and will want to make up for these months of lockdown, which is great as my flat in central Edinburgh will make me some good money via airbnb
