Stayed indoors. Heard some cackling as people staggered up the street.

Mass idiocy in the papers this morning. These pictures of pubs full to bursting - gwd.

More and more stories coming to the surface of folks 2-3 months later still suffering despite given the all clear. Fatigue, tissue damage - you're really going to risk that for a pint?

The people who are going out in hordes now will be in hospitals 2-3 weeks from now, gasping for breath.

It was all perfectly good. Started of at a brewery on the banks of the Rhein sitting in the sun, socially distancing from all the other people also having a nice leisurely Saturday afternoon outside. Afterwards we strolled up to the old Opel factory which is now putting on events in a square inside where tables and chairs have been set up in groups for 2, 3 or 4 people. You're escorted to your table and there is table service for you. You only had to wear a mask if you left your table, such as going to the toilet where only 2 people were allowed in at any one time. Once it ended, everyone left quite peacefully and we went and had a kebab. All pretty good actually...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

All good with me - a very civilised visit to my local Toby Carvery. Very well run, felt safe, nice and quiet.

However one of local pubs has £2.50 a pint and two huge tents in their tiny car park - it’s like a freshers week bar...

Thankfully the weather was not very hot or it could have been an absolute disaster.

Will be interesting to see how large groups like Soho and Notts will he handled.

Personally I think pubs for drinking only should be closed and only restaurants where the focus is on the meal should be open.

I'm all for this. Only way to stop the spread is not allow groups of people in contact with other people. Pub is there for groups of people to get in contact with other people. Madness IMO.

A local ( criminal family owned ) pub looked like it was having a lock in yesterday. A regular was outside smoking and waited till I ran past to go back in. Pubs have got another 2 weeks to go here.

I was sooo tempted to phone it in.
