My Indian IT friend who is settled in the UK (British Passport etc) is a bit on the dark side. He hates going back to visit India for those very reasons.

no surprises there.
Unlike western egalitarian societies , indian society is based on hierarchy and groupism . Indian people make groups based on which state are you from, which religion, which caste, social status, rich or poor , north india or south india etc

Well I'd say Cisco have been properly f**ked by their own policy on using cheaper labour. Hope it costs them a lot.

One can hope but earnings are up and so is the share price. The share price has doubled over the last 10 years.
