Generally, people who die of flu have chosen not to be vaccinated. I have have known a few people in their early 20s who died of flu.
Many people confuse flu with a cold, it is not the same.
I get vaccinated every year but I have no choice with Convid-19.
There will be flu deaths in addition to Convid-19 deaths.
This is complete bulltulip.
Nobody knows what strain of flu we will get each year. The vaccine is a prediction of how the scientists think the various strains will mutate. The vaccine only includes a limited amount of protection against those predictions. Some years its completely ineffective and the death rates soar.
Even in children it can have complications. Which is why vaccination is to be preferred.

Ah, chicken pox, I remember it well. Started on the second day of a two week school trip to France. Had to sleep alone in the teachers quarters, eat by myself and not go on all the cool day trips. Was alright when I got back to England, most of the rest of the class then had 2 weeks off school...
