      Project Management.

They really shouldn't list the jobs as "Salary: neg on experiance" if they really mean 30k.

I've started to ask what the daily rate for a Ltd company is as my first question now.

        It doesn't go very far!!!
Hi sally, sorry about the drought at the moment but i'm sure things will pickup. Have you looked into other oracle work such as forms & reports ... PL/SQL..... discoverer. I am saying this cos I'm assuming that u would have used all these with Apps development.

Is your current predicament a choice of beign too picky (rate, location, not focused enough to look at the moment..) or just bad luck at the moment ?

I was thinking of moving into Oracle Apps develpment myself and your post now seem to make me hesitate a bit 1

Actually I think it would be a good Idea If the moderators set up a page.... where forum users can list their areas of expertise.

          Hi Jay,

Wouldn't wan to put you off Oacle Apps stuff - its a cushy number.

I've been being stupidly picky - stopped my CV going into most gigs because of location really.

Had my second interview of the year today and got the job

I've had to settle for a lower rate (£470 a day - lowest in 3 years!!) but I'm sure i'll survive.

At least I'm back off the bench though, and its a bit of new stuf for me too.

Oh, and yes I do all the forms/reports/disco stuff.

yay!!!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention I got a job today!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                  Congrats, SA.

Looks like I still hold the record then - three years on the bench Though I've been back in for 13 months, and I've just been extended through to the end of May
