Oracle Consultants cost about £2k a day, so people like me are a bargain!

    Simple as that really.
Heh, my new project started yesterday is exactly the above, D.S I am doing what you are doing i.e. BA work, but have a technical background (used to be a developer) plus have data mapping/migration analysis so am staying through to implementation etc, I am getting paid very close to SA's rate (its only 500 - but think that's cuz its in the midlands, if it was in London am sure I could ask for £600) however its easy going here, and people (including contractors) start work at 8 am and finish at 4pm so its well worth it for me makes a big diference form my previous projects when often I had to stay in till 8 pm, I feel like a part timer really !!

i can be a pm but prefer not to.

        here’s a flippant summary a typical job:
        extract client needs
        offer best practice solution
        build system and crp
redefine design to incorporate legacy design exactly
        re-build system and test
re-define system to re-incorporate initial design
        re-build and test
        go live

Me, you and EO could form our own one stop Oracle shop!! (He's a DBA)

well ?? do I get the job?? I can always do PM (basically we can charge £3000 a day for me for doing nothing )

Don't want to do develooment really, been there done that for years got the bludy T-shirt and now I want to have a life, so just design and analysis work + PM work is acceptable for me
