The only upside of everyone being inside IR35 is that this club of morons called IPSE will cease to exist.
(and QDOS will lose part of its business as well)

Almost every contractor thinks they are a true contractor and everyone else is dragging them down.
I thought 1997 would herald the demise of contracting. I was wrong.
One thing IPSE definitely did was fund Arctic systems case big time. At some point there will be another case required to defeat the "future of contracting"(IR36?).
I don't believe IPSE have had alot of success with HMRC in recent years(prepared to be proved wrong). However I intend to join them at some point to help the forth-coming fight. Or at least try to help fund their campaign.
The problem IPSE will have is that Chris Bryce has said "tell us the rules and contractors will abide by them". HMRC rules are boiling down to one rule. We are always right and will do what we want when we want.
As soon as anyone tries to help CUK bashers are out in force. IPSE. BG. NTRT. Its quite sad that more support cannot be given to those trying to help. Instead of throwing them under a bus.
Both. I have IPSE Plus membership and QDOS professional indemnity insurance. Considering they both cost less than a day's work, it seems like a no-brainer.
