It annoys me when we have this self-bashing that goes on - really don't know why people are so ready to self loathe.Comment

£1.40 to the euro was not that long ago. Now we're approaching parity. That's almost a 30% drop as the result of the Brexiters combined wth the EU economy now succeeding. And the Tourist blames France. Unbelievable."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

I blame the Bliar/Brown consortium.

Mind you it will make shopping in France / Germany cheap in 2 years time
Frankly though, the best value meal I've had for a long time was £5 for cod and chips in Alnwick this summer. Yum.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

She is not pointing out the obvious, she is misunderstanding the situation. No exchange rate involved.
This is a Euro on Euro comparison a few years ago something cost 4 Euros now they cost 6 Euros so for all of you that think its down to Brexit please put on a Dunce's hat.
However the point I made was many goods for sale in France are cheaper in the UK now even after our devaluation.
Obviously spooter you got confused because you think the SNP budgets make sense and you are about as financially literate as my cat.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment
