    wifi connected picture frame

    is there such a thing? Something I can provide the old folks to see pictures of the spawn? Something I can upload new photos to now and again?

        Why wifi? Why not just get a normal digital frame, you download photos to a memory card and you just have to plug it in. Take the old card out to fill up at your house, then next time you're back, swap them over again.

            Sure, but if you're the one supporting it/downloading/updating the photos, I'd choose the option that meant the least amount of time actually doing the update when on site.

                    Sounds pretty risky - Couldn't some hacker hijack it and upload donkey porn?

                    Mind you, a large framed flat screen that shows, say, a slowly moving panorama could be a talking point.
