Religion is the belief in dieties, rather than the dieties themselves.
I always thought it was:
"Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, just as it is the spirit of a spiritless situation. It is the opium of the people."
Which I suppose makes a lot of people agree with old Marx on here
“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”
We can all applaud the banning of diseasex, but should CUK do more to weed out extremists?
Like who?
But as far as Christians are concerned - bring back the Test Acts, but rather that anyone with any kind of spiritual belief must be excluded from public office. Except Muslims of course, because that would be racist
What do you suggest and do you have evidence of more members with extreme views. Also can you define extremists so we all know we are talking about the same thing.
For example I was accused of extreme views by a member when I said Muslim communities had a responsibility to integrate.
Good point.
I can tell you that the mods are receiving complaints about me, in their mind, I'm aggressive when I answer them and I don't respond to the questions. I can imagine who fagots are, I'm not a saint but the members of this forum are so polite in a debate (irony) that I just laugh when I read the message.
In this case, do you see extremisms or stupidity from that members?
