For the avoidance of doubt, that was his point. Concerning evidence, plenty of people consider they have evidence that their religion is true. Same as some people believe homeopathy works - because "for me it does". Sure, there are some people and priests who prefer the whole "blind faith" thing as being more spiritual, but nonetheless, it is incorrect to categorise all religious people as believing without evidence. They at least believe they have evidence.

There is undeniable evidence that religion exists. That is true.Originally posted by d000hg View PostI think there's more evidence for the existence of religion.

DumbassOriginally posted by Bee View PostWell, again I'm not a saint, and I'm not telling you that I don't have dumbass responses for a dumbass question or don't have any dumbass responses at all (like everybody else), but you "forgot" to mention about the number of dumbass answers to my posts in professional forums. If any member disagrees or wants an explanation from my posts the basic rule would be asking or argue in a polite way, in this way, the result would be certainly different.

I think that we could be accused of being too lenient on that score...

I can tell you that the mods are receiving complaints about me, in their mind, I'm aggressive when I answer them and I don't respond to the questions. I can imagine who fagots are, I'm not a saint but the members of this forum are so polite in a debate (irony) that I just laugh when I read the message.
In this case, do you see extremisms or stupidity from that members?

Good point.Originally posted by woohoo View PostWhat do you suggest and do you have evidence of more members with extreme views. Also can you define extremists so we all know we are talking about the same thing.
For example I was accused of extreme views by a member when I said Muslim communities had a responsibility to integrate.

Like who?Originally posted by northernladyuk View PostWe can all applaud the banning of diseasex, but should CUK do more to weed out extremists?
But as far as Christians are concerned - bring back the Test Acts, but rather that anyone with any kind of spiritual belief must be excluded from public office. Except Muslims of course, because that would be racist

I always thought it was:Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostReligion is the belief in dieties, rather than the dieties themselves.
Which I suppose makes a lot of people agree with old Marx on here"Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, just as it is the spirit of a spiritless situation. It is the opium of the people."
