Sinn Fein MP Martin McGuinness admitted he was the IRA gunman who sparked Bloody Sunday , according to an informer
From the obituary in the Times:

The Saville inquiry reported 38 years later that McGuinness was engaged in paramilitary activity at that time, and was probably carrying a sub-machinegun that day, but had done nothing to justify the soldiers opening fire.
I'm no fan of the man, but try not to mislead.

so he was an armed terrorist but it was all the soldier's fault. Hmm don't wring your hands too dry.

NAT can't handle a different opinion to his own. The fact that an informer said one thing and the obituary said something else has confused him. His natural game is to patronise you if you're not taking his opinion as the correct one.

Your original post was misleading as it wasn't complete. I completed it and added the findings of the official inquiry. This has nothing to do with whether agree with the official inquiry or not, nor whether I think it was the soldiers' fault. Just a matter of accuracy. Get over yourself, princess.

I think the following joke might not be inappropriate.
          "Martin McGuiness has died".

          General opprobrium
          "What, too soon?"

As if by magic, the patronisation appears. You're nothing if not predictable.

Martin McGuiness. Interesting man. One mans freedom fighter is another mans terrorist and all that.
Question is would we be better off now if we could find his ISIS Equivalent?
                      Food for thought.
