Sadiq Khan likens Scottish Nationalism to racism

I was never a fan but as last he says something accurate. He compares Scottish nationalism to racism and Sturgeon to Trump. Pretty accurate really.

If we had an English Nationalist Party down here that acted the same way as brave Nicola then the whole lot would be regarded as racist. Good to see someone call out Sturgeon and the SNP for what they are.

Nationalism is like Racism except for the fact they're entirely separate things. Most England-first type groups are predominantly seen as against non-white people coming here - maybe because they're simply the easiest ones to identify - whereas a true nationalist says "we don't want you coming here no matter what colour you are". SNP seem to be a true Scotland for the Scots party not a "no blacks please" party.

Zac Goldsmith and Camoron, who helped spread the stories, both did something similar.

In short while Khan was campaigning for London Mayor, Goldsmith's team started a massive smear campaign against him based on religion. If Khan had done the same on Goldsmith's ethnic background he would have been put in prison.

Anyway due to his behaviour Goldsmith lost the Mayoral election. And this probably helped him lose his seat as an MP.

Odds-on he's a Celtic fan; if you read non-club football forums, there are plenty of undertones in the Scottish section and certain words are banned.

It's no surprised that the Irish republicans would consider Scottish independence to be a game-changer for their quest.
