Yep, I remember that feeling Milan. After 10 years of finish friday - start monday contracts all of a sudden I was getting nothing. I wasn't getting any call backs, interviews or even fishing for leads !!! I felt like Jonathon King's agent.
Does start to weigh you down quite quickly. I was out 5 weeks (felt longer even if I played golf most days), got a crap contract for 3 months then jumped into a permie team leader job as safe harbour (50% of peak contract rate)
Expectations soon drop too.
Week 1 - I want a contract 25% more than last rate, 10 minutes from my house.
Week 4 - Will work for food, anywhere !
Take a long look at what you have to offer and the market will tell you what the demand and value is for it, forget what you used to get, it's irrelevant.
I think it's useful to keep this diary of looking for
the next contract open so that we can all see that no
matter how easy we've had things in the past we must
prepare ourselves for when things get tougher
talking to an agent this morning he said there is a lot of
demand out there and that the new contract offers will
arrive like buses

Milan.
I had my freak-out yesterday...you're clearly having yours today mate. Something will turn up - just keep our chin up and keep looking.
Edit: I've just read DimPrawns reply - if you are still working I take all of my sympathy back!
