after the photo interview yesterday afternoon and the followup that one if looking like a cert

driving home agent calls about one of the others I told him speed up your client cos I just had an interview for another and am waiting for the offer

clients are a little slow, the jobs are there

rate is higher

So are you brave enough to tell me any projects you've worked on then...incase our paths have ever crossed? The Oracle world is very small!

At this juncture, I don't know whether that would be brave or stupid - you see, whilst I appreciate that the Oracle world is a small one, so is the world in general - and, despite my screen name, if my Gov't client(s) read some of my posts, I'd probably be banged up on the grounds of inciting racial hatred - which, frankly, would just be commercial

I'm reasonably normal, in the grand scheme and all that. This job is boring... I do it to pay the mortgage, fund my hobbies during the shooting and fishing seasons, and buy beer...

As for the clone - if you've got a spare set of datafiles knocking around on disk, about five minutes - if not, as long as it takes to copy/backup and restore/generally misappropriate some datafiles, plus about five minutes. Afterall, it ain't rocket science - it's just that the usual bunch of c***s that call themselves DBA's would have you believe it is. W*****s, IMHO.
