Sheesh tell me about it. Fortunately I have a US client who have benefitted from the $:£ rate after Brexit. I had been hunkering down preparing for the worst: retirement. In my 40s. Couldn't have happen to a nicer bunch.
In fact the actual cost of living (minus the cost of housing) is actually cheaper than places like Manchester. Add in the fact that a lot of places to visit are free then you can live there and entertain yourself far cheaper than having to travel there and do the same.Comment
