Mercedes CLS 350 here, approaching 2nd birthday, and previously a XF. Gotta love these big 6 pot diesels for motorway mile munching. As for next, the (re)search has commenced and current favourites are new E class, A6/A7 or maybe - leftfield choice - Volvo S90 T8

Mercedes seems to have its styling spot-on at the moment.

Yup, the sales figures are showing that.
Have a new model C-class estate at the moment. Wanted an E, but missus thought it was too big.
The interior is beginning to grate though - it's a little too bling, I would prefer a more classic approach.
        Otherwise it's all good.
        Hard Brexit now!

I found the boot on the C-class to be tiny compared to other cars I've had. Apart from that, a very nice car. I had a 12 plate C180 and never had a problem with it. Had a look at the new model and the interior put me off, as you're finding out.

What amazed me is that 80% plus of new Mercs are bought with PCP. Doesn't anyone actually buy their car anymore?

How could she possibly have any concept of "too big"?
