So basically a Press Release from Lloyds Bank. Who are desperately trying to mask the fact that they want to shelve staff and loss-making real estate to bolster flagging bonuses and investor profits whilst putting the blame on Brexit.
    Not fooling anyone really.

It's hoodwinked Old Greg completely to be fair.

Yes, but OG is the man that lost his shirt betting on what cup the ball would be under at the Norfolk Great Yokel's Day Out 2016!!
He is currently working in Ireland where his coworkers have placed 3 shovels up against a wall and asked him to take his pick!
I expect they will put him out of his misery by knock-off time.

          This is last week's news.

If consumer spending is buoyant then where is the contraction? Should be easy for an economics guru such as yourself to explain.

SO people are spending money even though all the evidence shows that employers are going to sharply curtail hiring?
You're right it's all good news as Britain will soon be roaring ahead of the world in the pawn shop industry!
              It's all good news.

The evidence is pointing to a lot of money coming into the country. Have you seen July's tourism stats?

And you will have seen that the need for contract resource rose in July. And that's alongside the rise in consumer spending. So much for the dent in confidence.

It's not really going the way the doomsters wanted, is it? Just a handful of Remnant Guardian and Independent reading lefty luvvies hanging on, hoping everything will collapse so they can come out and gloat about how right they were and how Juncker is their hero.

Why do you think the need for contract resource rose in July?

Do you understand that companies like Lloyds Bank run such indices on a regular basis rather than as a desperate attempt to mask this, that or the other?
