Wasn't this the same indicator used by sascretinguru to proclaim the start of Brexit doom? Seems to have a crisis following the same logic from one day to the next.

Well you bought an Aygo, so your record on motor vehicles is hardly something to get excited about is it?Originally posted by sasguru View PostLet's look at British exports at that point.
Would you buy a Qashqai if it was 10% more?
I wouldn't even if it was 10% less.

Parts become more expensive to import to the UK. However the cost of manufacturing remains the same, as does our profit margin. In that case it makes more sense to build in the UK and sell in the UK than to move production outside the uk and then export inwards.Originally posted by sasguru View PostLet's look at British exports at that point.

And no, I wouldn't buy squashed kite either.

It would be equally nice if we had the spare capacity to cope with any increase in demand and the extra demand resulted in investment rather than employing a few more low paid staff...Originally posted by sasguru View PostIt's nice without tariffs. Isn't the EU a brilliant idea.

Some how I doubt it.

I simply make a point of highlighting every negative comment you make about the UK (which is all you do). As the sad pathetic little loser you are there is no issue or event that cannot be turned into feeding your negative narrative about the UK even if it means contradicting previous posts. I accept that in many cases you may have a point however such is your weary obsession with denigrating Britain that any point you may have is likely to be lost.Originally posted by darmstadt View PostSo pointing out facts is Brit hating is it? Read your original post and work out what was subjective and what was fact.Originally posted by darmstadt View PostSo pointing out facts is Brit hating is it? Presumably in order to be a true patriotic Brit you need to lie through your back teeth, no wonder you like the Tories
Isn't there a ContractorDE website you can post your loathing on? At least you would be among friends there.

The Brit hatingOriginally posted by darmstadt View PostExcellent news. Presumably everyone bought on credit as well? Actually this report is tosh, it is not quantitative and when you read that 35% of retailers said that volumes were up in “August” and 26% said that volumes were down (ie a percentage balance of 9%), please remember that only 58 retailers took part…and that the survey was conducted between July 27th and August 12. Pretty good eh? Now what about the important areas where Britain makes it's money: services, construction and manufacturing which were all down. Is the UK going to try and buy it's way out of a recession but then how are people going to pay off of all their debts when their business is not making any money? Difficult one to balance there...
is in full cry
I see.
