Sure do. They hate change. I know, I've worked in a few. Earn'd a bucket load and changed nothing. Thanks for reminding me!

Poland has joined the growing list of European nations looking to attract some of the UK’s biggest banks following Brexit, according to a report in the Financial Times today.

The Polish deputy prime minister is scheduled to descend on the British capital later this week armed with a package of incentives to lure away senior executives from some of the biggest banks in the City that have indicated an interest in relocating jobs to the continent

Yes everyone moves to Poland for £100 / day.

This is more likely though. Head of Deutsch Bank says UK to remain at the Center of European banking. And he was a Remainer. Also has a pop at the EU for generally being out of touch with reality.

That's the first believable thing you've posted.

Maybe if we could make them change rather than just bury the costs we may be better off?

A successful contractor realises you can't force change on your clients. You facilitate it. Big difference.

              So what do you think?

Tempts them away, not enough good Poles to do the jobs required, becomes as expensive as anywhere else, everyone back to London. Been there, seen similar.

What's the selling point? I guess Poland will be cheaper, but it's exactly as you state. Where would you get the quality of staff in sufficient numbers? Anyway, aren't all the smart Poles in the UK already?

Quite a few stay there, as there is a good living to be had overall, if you work in IT.
One of the issues the big boys find is a lot of Poles treat perm more like contracting, the good ones move every 6-12 months.
