He'll be out of a job before any brown stuff hits (if it even does) anything anyway, so take him with a large (and I mean LARGE) pinch of salt...
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

As Obama seems unlikely to benefit much personally one way or the other, and he was presumably speaking on behalf of the US, that amounts to asking how the US will benefit.

Besides claimed benefits to Wall Street bankers and suchlike, another plausible answer is that Cameron offered the US useful concessions in return for their support, quite possibly at the future expense of the UK (literally or metaphorically).

By its nature, the details of a deal like that is unlikely to become public knowledge, at least until long after the vote is over. But deal or not, we can be sure Obama and the US don't give a stuff about the interests of UK subjects as individuals. Why should they, when we don't have a vote in US elections?

Thoughtful article here from the Standard City editor - would appreciate an intelligent Brexiteer response, if such a thing exists.

                  From the article:
"... leading Brexit economist Patrick Minford was close to the mark when he said before the vote that he expected manufacturing and agriculture to disappear once we left the EU."

And he thought that was OK?

To be honest, both agriculture and manufacturing are rapidly becoming a combination of highly automated robots with either very well paid jobs (designing the manufacturing systems or the products) or very low paid moving stuff around....
