He seems to have done a reverse Samson, the more hair, the crappier he gets
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

        You've blown your cover here.

The cut is not geographical, it's socioeconomic.

You, are mixing in one social circle in Scotland, and a different one in the south. And you are mistakenly extrapolating from there.

        Hope this helps.

And yet we're still sending them "aid". Just think, when the Jocks finally get independence (nd I think they probably will, on the basis that if you keep asking the same question, eventually you'll get the answer you were hoping for) they'll be applying for "aid". They'll need it by then.

Banks Accelerate Contingency Plans as Brexit Gets Real - WSJ

When Japan’s Daiwa Securities Group Inc. heard the British prime minister pledge on Sunday to prioritize controlling immigration in the coming Brexit negotiations, it didn’t wait to act.

The next day, staff accelerated contingency planning for the bank’s London investment banking unit and began to contact other European cities, according to a person familiar with the matter.

I'll give you half a mark for spotting I'm a 'Southerner'. However, I've lived way outside the M25 for the last 18 years (admittedly with a couple of six month dips back into the South East). There are some wide-boys in London, but I think you'll find it also has its fair share of ordinary folk who just want to get on with things just like everywhere else. The real difference between the South East - because that's what you really mean by London - and the rest of the UK is the opportunities and wealth.

From where I sit Scottish Nationalism has more than a faint whiff of Irish Republicanism about it. Both are hardcore dogmas dressed up as fuzzy romantic socialism.

half my family are from up north its interesting how their sons all come down south to get jobs. They would work up there but apparently there are no jobs. However lots of immigrants have found work or started a business regardless of where they live.

As we know there are jobs of course, but nowhere near the number or salaries that London can offer. It's a trade-off. Personally, my wife is from where I am now and I really, really hated any kind of regular travel into London. Commuting in London crushes the soul no matter what the rate/salary.
