Why do people confuse Islamaphobia (sic) with disgust at the actions of idiots in the name of their favourite sky fairy and the general ability of a religion to be so screwed up? Hating it versus deriding it are two completely different things, albeit phobias are about fears rather than hatred but that's a secondary discussion about the correct naming convention for a label that people want to apply to others to feel more comfortable in themselves.

It is reported he observed the Muslim faith and objections to scantily clad women tend to be brought forward by more extreme observers of that faith (and extreme Christians).

Maybe you should look at the quote I was replying to. In the interests of fairness, maybe the poster should now post about the lives of children being screwed up by the Catholic church. I'm sorry but I find that original post pretty damn offensive and don't think it is deriding Islam but being more as a form of cultural racism.

Why doesn't the original poster, to be fair to all religions, begin a tirade about the abuses of the Catholic church or just change the word mosque to temple. I'm pretty sure that would go down well...Mind you we know that the original poster seems to have xenophobic, bordering on racist tendencies by previous posts

Why it is very sad? Do you blame him for his actions? How could you have prevented them? Are you willing to try?

However what will probably turn out to be a single nutter who was failed or completely missed by the system isn't the same as a growing epidemic of religiously/politically motivated nutters who kill lots of people in one go for a belief that we seem to have no way of countering.

That's like equating a punch up in the pub with Waterloo.
