I wasnt talking about population. Denmark GDP is around 340b, Finland is 272b, Norway is 520b, Ireland is 239b. Scotland is just under 200b, and a lot of that is falling because of the falling cost of oil.

But it is a fair point on population. I actually wonder if we will hear some sort of deal between Scotland and N.Ireland over the next day or 2.

Leave or stay, it will be interesting times for all concerned. And think of all the contractors earning some cash rebuilding a wall.
Because I'm a Scot no longer living in Scotland I'm no longer a Scot? You've obviously no idea about what it means to be a Scot so stop pretending you do.

People do not take kindly to being forced to do something against their wishes. You seem to think that is acceptable.

You mean Scotland and NI to form their own United Kingdom? That'd be interesting.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Calm down dorris. When did I say it was acceptable? I said I thought it was unlikely there would be a Ref#2 re Scotland in the UK because of the risk. I may well be wrong. The whole EU referendum was about people "being forced to do something against their wishes" - i.e, the European laws. And with a pretty 51/49 split, half the country is being asked told to do something they dont want.. but thats politics for you.

But, I imagine from your tone that you would vote for Scotland to leave the UK yes? So.. does it not seem a little odd that you would vote for something which would not effect you, not living in scotland anymore? Or do you intend to go back to scotland, and take your family back with you... even if they dont want to move and therefore force them to do something against their will? Im just asking.

Anyway, just a few minutes and we will see if there will be a Ref#2. Now... salt or sweet popcorn this time? Hmmmmm, mixed I think.

Yeah - And if they did, they would not have a king... so what would they call themselves? United North? North Britain?
And what would the rest (assuming Wales didnt join them) call them/ourselves? We could still call it the United Kingdom.. but with Just England and Wales, the UK would no longer be anything, neither would the GB, so I guess we would just be Britain?

Britain is actually Scotland, England and Wales, so it would have to be Smaller/Little Britain or The Kingdom of England and Wales.

It would actually reduce the population by 8 million so a lot of Brexit supporters would be happy

No but they would have a Queen.

The Queen is the head of state in Australia and Canada.

I share it. So effectively the same as EU membership, but reduced influence. And the Brexiters think they've won?
