You never have though. You voted for your MP last time around, and more people voted for their Tory MP than the other lot so we have a conservative government. That clearer?

Everybody whose everyone votes for the expected incumbent of No. 10. You ask the great unwashed who their local MP is and they'll struggle for a name the majority of the time. Hope that's clear.

You can join the Conservative party for £25/year and take part in the rank and file elections for the new leader/PM.

Of course, only worth doing so if you are a Tory voter.

Just praying that the new PM kicks out Gideon.

Indeed. When Gordon Brown took over from Blair the very first thing Labour did was call a GE.............

Seeing Gideon on TV this morning he looked close to death. He just watched his career go down the river.

37% that voted Tory last time round wasn't it? About the same that voted Leave. Democracy: giving power to the minority for 2,500 years.
