..but you can vote in pen if you want, just don't make up/share some horror story that is doing the rounds from people who struggle with breathe in/breathe out.
"...the use of a pen or pencil when completing the ballot paper is not specified in legislation. In the UK, pencils are traditionally used for the purposes of marking ballot papers and are made available inside polling stations for voters to use. Having said this, there is nothing to stop a voter from using a pen to mark their vote - there is no legal requirement for ballot papers to be marked with a pencil. Pencils have been used partly for historic and partly for practical reasons."

"This depends on whether you're a minor or major royal. "The Queen lives in the constituency of Westminster but she isn't on our electoral register," Mr Tonkin says. "As head of state, she is part of the institution of Parliament so cannot vote." The same applies to close family members like Prince Charles and his sons. But "minor" royals not so closely related to the Queen may be able to vote. "
The Queen can't vote?? And they call this democracy!!!?!?!

That's interesting. At my polling station they only let you keep the pen if you vote Leave. It's a memento of Europe lost they said, before checking my ballot paper.
