I said this ages ago.

1. We stop bombing countries into oblivion and displacing people.

2. We spend money on rebuilding countries we've fooked up (hint: Marshall Plan)

3. We (i.e. the West) spend a bit less on the military and bit more on ending World Poverty.

But that won't happen just yet cos too many people want to slam the door and say 'not my problem' and 'wasn't actually me personally that bombed you'. Plus there's no money in poverty, there's lots of luverly money in arming people mind....
