Not again. It was all above board...

Of course, some of you would like to think it was all done fraudulently then you'd have something to huff and puff about but sorry to disappoint you....

Not appropriate behaviour. Its like changing your mates background image in windows to display a huge cock.
Ah. So it was NAT then.

I guess you are also willing to go on record as saying that the firm that wrote that piece are promoting fraud, if you're so sure of yourself?
Nice one. But then some posters are not so keen on letting the facts get in the way of a good bout of throwing their weight around.

Thats personal decision whether to claim or not or deem whether you are worthy of claiming. Totally up to you. We're all going to disagree on this.

My PERSONAL OPINION is if I pay tax and its legal, I can claim it. Others may disagree.

If I'm wrong about this then I apologise
I choose to spend some of my savings yes whilst still employed. You might not agree with this but thats the way it works.

Obviously, you cant bail out the account when you're claiming. But this is the law as it stands. Your financial situation is determined on the day that you begin the claim. Rightly or wrongly is a matter for debate.

Not intending to labour the point but so is a lot of things that us contractors do. But the law is the law.

Would suggest that its impossible and impractical to track down someones spending BEFORE they even claimed. How would you do that? How far back would you go?

You surely can't dictate to people that they better not spend any money just in case they find themselves out of work shortly.

It was years ago. I cant remember exactly what they asked. At the time though, I did clarify a few things - I asked to speak to a manager (which they foiund strange) to check things.

Reason was I didnt want to claim then have to pay it back months later.

Nope. All dividends were paid out from the company before I became jobless. All that was in the company account was VAT and CT money (and not over £16K).

                      Can you prove that?
