But then look at the US, they've elected two candidates each as scary as the other. Democracy has clearly failed us on some level.
Excellent point - y'know, if I was told tomorrow that I had 3 months to live, I'd probably think "OK, looks like I got off lightly then".
Serious prediction: Trump will win by a fairly small margin, he'll get most of the middle states, Hillary will get the usual democrat bits, like the E & W coastal states, but I doubt that will be enough. Scary McScaryface indeed...

What's coming in the not so distance future are extra tariffs on products created in countries with unfair not level playing field with EU - like lack of pension system in country, or 12 hour shifts, lack of safety etc: all that should and will be penalized with higher import tariffs.

Post Brexit UK will be on the receiving end of that - them children digging coal, if you know what I mean.
The EU sounds like the totalitarian dictatorship we should be walking away from. Does it occur to you that the UK imports more from the EU than it exports? The UK has its own pensions (not good - but quite how you think these will be subsidised by other EU countries is beyond me!). As far as safety is concerned the uK has the highest standards in the EU and in many cases construction companies refuse to employ non UK site managers for example - this leads to discrimination issues. Finally we can make our own working laws.

Boris will be in no. 10 when Trump wins.

A new special relationship is born.

Perhaps you should try living in one before coming away with statements like that. Go on, over to North Korea with you.

I never believed such swaths of the under-educated herbivores could be so reckless with their thinking.

So we all have to live under a regime before we can have an opinion of it

It's not and won't be, if anything it's indecisive when it should be.

And? Imports will drop because of GBP weakness - people won't be able to afford things.

You wont even conceded that the UK has a strong bargaining position.

It's indecisive all the time, except when it comes to the wrong shaped banana, or bending over and gobbling Putin. Look at how utterly useless they have been over the migration crisis.
