When we leave we take our place back at the World Trade Organisation. We can then negotiate our own trade deals.

It'll be up to us whether we reduce tariffs on African goods or not.

Doesn't sound like bollocks to me. Sounds a lot more like democracy.
You are living in cloud cuckooland....

Primary objective number one is going to be agreeing a new trade deal with the EU. The concept we will operate on WTO rules with the EU for any long than required just simply isn't going to happen. When we agree a new trade deal we are going to have accept certain conditions and a lot of what life is like today is going to look that in the future, in or out.

The importing of coffee from Africa has no impact on us. The idea we won't agree to protect Germany reprocessing I think is laughable. We will only fight for areas to do with banking and so on.

It isn't about coffee you idiot. Its about us agreeing to keep in place certain import tariffs in place for a trade deal. Anyone thinking we will be happy to trade with the EU on WTO rules is deluded. Anyone who thinks we will not accept vast chunks of current EU regulation in return for a trade deal is deluded!

Trade deals are a two way thing. We will be one country (all be it the fifth biggest economy) looking to do deal with a massive block. The ball is more in their court than ours. We will have to cave on lots of issues to win on a few.

The UK really won't give a tulip about Africa. Its China, India and the Americas we will be not doubt be looking to exploit more. I question how successful this will be.

You Brit loathing idiots seem not to realise that the UK imports more from the EU than it exports. You forget also that the EU economy is now permanently in crisis. Why on earth you idiots think that an EU that is enfeebled by Brexit will have any scope with which to carry out a grudge against the UK is beyond me.

he is saying the EU want to screw them so Germany can make a few quid on coffee processing. If we Brexit part of the deal we will be offered is that we shaft Africa to keep the Krauts happy and take all immigrants France don't want.

They can't understand why we don't see this as a good deal.

We are a net importer from the EU by a ratio of about 2:1. If they want to trade with us (and unless they are congenitally stupid, they will) the ball will be in our court. We won't be obliged to place import tariffs on anyone, although we can choose to do so, if we wish. Any trade deal with the EU cannot possibly affect our dealing with the rest of the world. Unless Cameron is in charge, of course.
Do you seriously think the EU only trades with the US, China, Japan etc. on condition they impose tariffs on other nations they trade with?

And you have the f@@king nerve to call me an idiot? Nurse!!!

I don't think they would... But to also claim we are going to have all the cake and get to it is just as mind numbingly dumb as well...

I think we will get a "fair" deal... What you think is a "fair" deal though is just laughable

If you think we are going to get all the gravy being promised by the out campaign you are in the clouds. Their hard line will never see a reality. Future British government's will have to agree to accept large parts of EU regulations, you can't get a trade deal without one. Or do you have little understanding of what a trade deal is ?

watch it last night Yvette Balls up was saying we are only 17% of their exports so they won't care and will shaft us, that's why we should vote remain. Its a bit like staying with a flaky girlfriend because she threatens to take a pair of scissors to your entire wardrobe before scratching your car.

Chris Grayling was trying not to laugh.
