So you are saying that the member states should surrender their sovereignty to the EU who according to you seem to know what they are doing despite the fact that the EU has now gone into a deflationary spiral like Japan.
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

US voters can't REMOVE their president during their term. Only the Senate can remove them.

Likewise the President of the Commission and all the commissioners can be removed during their term by the European Parliament.

Neither the US senate or European parliament have ever done this.

He resigned before they could get rid of him.

Johnson and Clinton who were both impeached where found not guilty.

The commission does boring admin things e.g. collecting their huge expenses and allowances.
1: I never said it was equal, merely the closest equivalent comparison in UK political terms.

Because the Queen had the power to do this and other things prior to us joining the EU, right?

Well done for spotting my meaning. I'll spell it out for you:

Our monarchy over the last few hundred years has had power transferred from the head of state (Monocracy) to a an elected government (Democracy).

The EU seeks that more power transferred from our democratically elected government (again Democracy), to an unelected commission (Dictatorship).

Seriously, if you're trolling, it's top class trolling -- to wit -- it's unclear whether or not you're trolling.

You mean, he jumped before he was pushed? Pushed by the US Senate?
Clinton I feel a bit of sympathy for. If I were married to Hillary I wouldn't have said "no" to a bit of a gobble from a young intern...Hardly corruption on a grand scale, is it? For that you have to look at the EU Commission.

So am I. And it's a small price to pay, IMHO.

He didn't want to go down as the first successfully impeached president.

It's a marriage of convenience - as part of it some "sovereign rights" need to be forgone unless there is mutual agreement how they are used by ALL members.

Do you think he'd been ok to go down to jail as the SECOND successfully impeached president? I reckon not...
