the UK government has the press and the electorate to keep an eye on it which is why the UK is one of the least corrupt countries in the world.

And you ran away from it to then go and support the imposition of a similar system on the people of your new country. Where are you off to next?

I don't mind Germany impose their system on UK - unrestricted autobahns, high speed railways for cheap price with trains running at night time, legal hand guns, 25% flat tax on dividends, what's not to like?

Voting to leave EU is to vote out of progress - there is no place for short sighted nationalism in modern world, Europeans should stand together rather than separate with selfish self-interests.

                Interesting linky

Germany is as corrupt as the UK

                France is more corrupt

However Sweden and Norway who aren't the EU's biggest fans, are in the top 5.

If the answer is no, then your first statement is factually incorrect. The EU doesn't have an agenda to create a superstate.

Why is it the remainers will not argue this point and be honest and say that this is what is right for the UK. Instead they go on about "reform" when there is not the slightest impetus for any sort of reform whatsoever. A bit of horse trading and lobbying for the interests of member states yes but proper reform?
I don't mind a superstate so long as the led can remove the leaders. EU is fine, if it has regular elections where every citizen gets a vote to remote the leader (President) and the government (Commission). If the leader can't be removed by the people every 5 years, then the state/project is inviable, in my view.

Going forward without full democracy just doesn't work. Full suffrage elections are the only acceptable arrangement. We have learned that on so many occasions.

That's why I will be voting out, and with some regret. I can accept any EU craziness, but not that.
